We are excited to host the CT Premier Spring Clinic on June 4 and 5 at Chelsea Piers CT in Stamford, CT. The Clinics will feature Merrill Moses, 3x Olympian, Olympic Silver Medalist and Assoc. Head Coach at Pepperdine University, and Dustin Litvak, Princeton Men’s Water Polo Head Coach and Women’s Water Polo Asst. Coach.

Also on deck will be Lucas Gielen and Dan Young, CT Premier Water Polo Club Senior Coaches.

Merrill Moses

Three-time U.S. Olympian and Silver Medal winner at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games. He was named to the 2008 All World Team, and is a three-time Pan American Games Gold Medalist. He won an NCAA Championship in 1997 and was one of the MVP’s of the game. He is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

He started coaching at Pepperdine University in 2012 and is now the Associate Head Coach for Pepperdine University.  He has helped guide Pepperdine to 3 Gold Coast Conference Championships and brought the team back to the NCAA Championships Final 4 in 2019. 

Dustin Litvak

Dustin Litvak is the current Head Men’s and Assistant Women’s Water Polo Coach at Princeton University. In this three seasons at the helm of the men’s program, the team won two NWPC titles, qualifying for the NCAA tournament both times. In 2021, Princeton was ranked as high as #9 in the country with wins over many west coast powerhouses including UC Irvine, Pepperdine and LMU.

Before his time at DeNunzio Pool, Litvak spent five seasons at UCLA, working with the men’s and women’s water polo teams. From 2013-15, he was an assistant with the men’s team that won the 2014 national title, the first time UCLA had won the national championship in ten years. Litvak then assisted with the women’s squad from 2015-2017, highlighted by an MPSF championship and a second-place finish at the 2017 NCAA Tournament.

Prior to UCLA, Litvak was the head coach of the boys’ water polo team at his alma mater, Agoura High School, where he earned Marmonte League Coach of the Year nine straight years. Agoura won its first-ever CIF Championship in 2007 and three more additional crowns in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Litvak was a four-time CIF Coach of the Year (in Divisions 4 and 2) and a seven-time Los Angeles Daily News Coach of the Year. He was also a finalist for the Positive Coaching Alliance’s Double Goal Coach Award.

Litvak also had a variety of assignments with USA Water Polo, serving as a coach with the men and women’s junior and youth national squads. In 2017, the men’s youth national team won the goal medal at the 2017 UANA Youth Championships in Lima, Peru.
